AXPICO-L

The sensor and LED interface board for Interactive Digital Signage

AXPICO-L is the interface board designed by Progel to transform a digital signage system into a truly interactive platform.

Based on Raspberry Pico 2, AXPICO-L manages sensors and actuators in real-time using all the available CPU power, and communicates efficiently with the digital signage player based on Raspberry Pi 5.

The result is a modular, reliable, and scalable architecture designed for professional installations.

AXPICO-L integrates all the main interfaces needed to build a complete Interactive Signage system, reducing wiring, complexity, and installation times.

Each input is designed for a specific role within the interactive experience.

Supported sensors:

  • 360° LiDAR for presence and distance detection

  • mmWave sensors for detecting people and objects

  • RFID / NFC for product and user identification

  • Load cells for detecting weight and object removal

  • Physical contacts (reed, buttons, switches)

  • AI Sensors (GFD and Omron Human Vision)

This flexibility makes AXPICO-L ideal for retail, showrooms, museums, and public spaces.
